Legends & Landmarks
Embekke (circa 1354) made of wood, Lankathilaka (circa 1351) made of brick and Gadaladeniya (circa 1344) carved out of the rock are all temples and devales built by kings in ancient times. All three are situated close to each other and can be reached in about 30-45 min. drive from Ellerton and is an ideal short excursion.
